As you all know special damage is very important in pvp so if you want think about it you need to know all the way to get those damage or to boost your resistance for those damage. That's why i have listed things here, and how i think they work.

Special Damage name : Yin, Yang, Body and Soul.

So first thing to know is how work this damage ?

Simple : you get 200 yin (or Yang or Body or Soul) damage if the guy against you don't have any resistance for this damage you take him 200 from his life.
Yep defense and shield (if the shield is not a special one) don't work on those damage !

How can i get those damage ?

- Weapon Ornament :

You can bind on weapon some ornament, the betters give 250 special damage (Yin, Yang, Body or Soul)

- Warrior Buff :

This Buff give 400 Yin and 400 Yang damage. You can get one from each clan so that's mean there is 6 kind of those buff. (Btw it's bugged and it give only 600 damage)

- Nuker Buff :

This buff give 400 Body and 400 Soul damage. You can get one from each clan so that's mean there is 6 kind of those buff.

NOTE : Those damage are nerved by 80% in pvp

Resistance for those damages :

For those damages there is some resistance item, they work in %. What that's mean ? :
If you have 10% Resistance in Soul and that someone attack you with 1000 Soul damage you will lost 900 in life.

Life lost = Special damage x [ 1 - (special resistance/100)]



- Resistance wardrobe ornament :

The perfect ornament give you 15% yin, yang, body or soul resistance.
You can only put them on deco !

- Resistance from clan mastery :

Shaolin : 10% Soul.
Wu-Tang : 5% Yin 5% Yang.
Beggar : 10% Body.
Brotherhood : 10% Body.
Flower : 10% Yin.
Demon : 10% Yang.

- Resistance From Hat :

20% on all resistance. (You can get that hat from the black market in the 3th lvl from the Cave of the Conqueror details about him are [url="http://phpbb.acclaim.com/9dragons/viewtopic.php?t=119482"] Here [/url])

- Resistance From Conqueror Cave Set :

15% on all resistance. To get 15% on all resistance you need to have the full set on your character. You can drop those clothes on the Wu-Tang mobs at the begun of CC2.)

- Resistance from Healer buff.

35% Yin and Soul. You can get one from each clan so that's mean there is 6 kind of those buff.

- Shield from Nuker :

Nuker got one Yang shield that absorb 1950 Yang attribute damage for 30 seconds.

- Resistance From Pill on NPC.

Those pill will be available at NPC (Doctor) when Tibet update will be out. It give 10% resistance, and there are 4 pills, one for each special damage.

- For Flowers :

- 50% Body (Hat + 2 Body Ornaments on deco)
- 50% Yang (Hat + 2 Yang Ornaments on deco)
- 240% Yin (Hat + 6 healer buff)
- 230% soul (Hat + 6 healer buff)

(You can do 4 ornaments from body then it become 80% Body / 20% Yang or 4 ornaments from body then it become 20% Body / 80% Yang)

- For Shaolin :

- 50% Body (Hat + 2 Body Ornaments on deco)
- 50% Yang (Hat + 2 Yang Ornaments on deco)
- 230% Yin (Hat + 6 healer buff)
- 240% soul (Hat + 6 healer buff)

(You can do 4 ornaments from body then it become 80% Body / 20% Yang or 4 ornaments from body then it become 20% Body / 80% Yang)

- For Beggar and Brotherhood :

- 60% Body (Hat + 2 Body Ornaments on deco)
- 50% Yang (Hat + 2 Yang Ornaments on deco)
- 230% Yin (Hat + 6 healer buff)
- 230% soul (Hat + 6 healer buff)

(You can do 4 ornaments from body then it become 90% Body / 20% Yang or 4 ornaments from body then it become 30% Body / 80% Yang)

- For Wu Tang :

- 50% Body (Hat + 2 Body Ornaments on deco)
- 55% Yang (Hat + 2 Yang Ornaments on deco)
- 245% Yin (Hat + 6 healer buff)
- 230% soul (Hat + 6 healer buff)

(You can do 4 ornaments from body then it become 80% Body / 25% Yang or 4 ornaments from body then it become 20% Body / 85% Yang)

- For Demon :

- 50% Body (Hat + 2 Body Ornaments on deco)
- 60% Yang (Hat + 2 Yang Ornaments on deco)
- 230% Yin (Hat + 6 healer buff)
- 230% soul (Hat + 6 healer buff)

(You can do 4 ornaments from body then it become 80% Body / 30% Yang or 4 ornaments from body then it become 20% Body / 90% Yang)



The special damage with mobs and boss :

Some mobs and boss with Tibet update will be able to do some special damage, there will be a color on their life :

Yin – Blue
Yang – Red
Soul – Purple
Body – Yellow

So it will be useful to get some special damage resistance for pve now
